Wow! It has been a long time since I have posted! These are just some pictures of Kamrynn @ School with Cat in the Hat, Thing1 & Thing2! She loved them!

This is an igloo that is inside Kami's school. It is made out of milk jugs. Jeff's mom is the secretary @ Kam's school & she made it! I thought it was such an awesome idea! All of the kids just love it! It is big enough for the classes to get in and have story time. In this picture from left to right is Michael,Izzy, Allysa, Eryn, Kamrynn, & ?. They had a blast in it!

Today Patrick & Joyce got to go home at 4:00pm. They were both ready to take Cody home and get him situated! He is still doing very good. He is so calm, I have hardly heard him cry except for when he was first delivered and the nurses were making him cry! Joyce is pretty tired but Patrick is so good to help. Patrick & Joyce had there little boy, Cody Thomas Churchwell, yesterday @ 3:52pm. He weighed 7lbs 7oz & was 20 inches long. He is has the cutest pouty lips I've ever seen! I'm sure I'll be doing anything that baby wants very soon! Daddy & Mommy are both doing well besides the exhaustion. Sorry I don't have any pictures uploaded yet but I will try to post some a little later today... Thanks for the prayers!

We got our tree on Thursday night but did not have time to decorate it so on Friday Michael's asthma was acting up & he was home from school so we decided to go & get Kamrynn out of school at one & decorate it in the afternoon. We had never done this in the middle of the day! It is always dark when we do it so we shut all the blinds & turned off the lights to make it feel "normal"! It was a lot of fun to take our time & not have to hurry. The kids had a blast!

Lastnight we took the kids out to get a christmas tree. This year we really wanted to go to a tree farm and cut down our own tree but when we looked into it we couldn't find one that was open on weeknights so we ended up just going to Lowes like we usually do! Ok so this post might be a little embarrasing in more than one way, but I don't care!! I know I go a little overboard on clothes for my kids but this is crazy! This week I decided to pull all of the kids clothes out while they were at school and sort them. The sad thing is, when I took this picture I had already sorted Isabell's and hers was this bad if not worse!!! I am not buying another kids clothing item for a looong time! (Izzy sure had fun pulling everything out with me!)

A couple weeks ago the girls & I got to watch Adison while Josh & Rachel went to a wedding. Jeff was working at the firestation so I decided to take the girls to see him & the firetrucks. I love new faces! Izzy has recently figured out her "surprised" look and she does is all the time! What I love about it is that she uses it at surprised times so she actually understands the meaning! She is at such an awesome age, changing all the time. With her being our last baby, I am really wanting to enjoy every new thing she does. On Saturday night the kids stayed the night at Jeff's parents house and we had a night to ourselves! Brad was in town from college so Jeff and I went with Brad, Megan, Becky, Donnie, Wes, & one of his buddies to the TU football game. We all had a blast! TU won 77 to 35 or something like that! So I am posting about every other day now! I guess I have a lot to catch up on since I didn't post for over a month. I know I have already talked about how nice the weather is but I can't say enough about how much we are loving it!~ I recently found a really nice double stroller at a garage sale in the area for $15 so Kami can ride with Isabell! They both think it is so much fun to ride together. I don't have any pictures of it yet but I will try to take some soon. I love getting a good deal!! Jeff and the girls at the creek by our house~

Cookie Time!!

Tonight the kids and I decided to make a sugar cookie art kit that we had and this is how they turned out! Michael with his snake cookies... Kamrynn with her snowman, and other assorted shapes!!

The cookies when they were all finished baking! Michael's turned into one big cookie, which Kami pointed out was the wrong way to do it and that hers looked so much better than his! This of course turned into a fight and ruined the whole experience. (not really, we actually had a lot of fun!)

The kids and I have been enjoying this awesome fall weather! This is my favorite time of year and I think I have passed that on to the kids. The other day the girls and I took a walk around the neighborhood and saw one of the horses around the block. It is the sweetest horse, he let us all pet him and didn't mind the constant yelling from Isabell! This is why I love the area we live in! We are in Tulsa city limits but still have enough land to have a horse! (or the people around us to have a horse, I don't think I'm ready to add that to my list just yet!) The pictures are a little crazy but we forgot the camera so I took them with my phone! Kam with the horse! I was surprised she got this close!

So Jeff and I took Michael & Kamrynn to the fair and left miss Izzy with grandparents. The kids always want to ride rides and we were a little concerned about taking Izzy into all the madness! We had a great time! One thing we know is that Kam is our little daredevil! She will ride ANYTHING! And when she wasn't tall enough for the big rides she was not happy. I was pretty nervous the whole time. She is just so tiny and I kept thinking she was going to slide out of everything! Jeff on the other hand loves it that she is this way and encourages her to ride them all. He's nuts! (If you haven't noticed, I am trying to catch up on my posts!)

Izzy's 1st Birthday!!

Izzy turned 1 on Sunday! I can't believe that she is already 1!! So we had her party lastnight at the house and even though I know she could care less about everything, except the cake, we still did all the "fun" party stuff! She did ok with the presents, more interested than any of my other kids were at 1, but boy did she love her cake! That girl can eat like I have never seen a baby eat! She ate over a quarter of a double layer cake! We actually had to take it away from her b/c we were afraid she would be sick! She was NOT happy about that! Anyway, we had a great time with all the family over and Izzy thanks you all for her toys!!

Lastnight(Thursday night) my Mom took Joyce, Marianna, Michael, Kamrynn, & I to see the musical "seven brides for seven brothers". Michael's racing is over! I am so glad to be heading home! He did awesome! He got second out of 40 cars in one class and 4th out of thirty in another! I am so proud of him! We really haven't ever put him in a race at this level so to see him do so well was awesome! Hope you all enjoyed the vacation, others, sorry if it bored you! We will be back on Tue. in time to get everything laundered up and head out to camp on Sat.!! So hope to see some of you there!

Final Day!!

Tomorrow will be our last day here! I am so excited! What is even better is that my mother-in-law has offered to take the baby with her on her flight home to Tulsa so I don't have to drag her on our 26 hour drive home! Pretty awesome! Anyway, Michael raced again today and he went through to the next race so tomorrow is the big day! He will race in two of the biggest races in the country ! I am very nervous! I never would have expected him to do this well and I am so proud of him!! I can almost promise that Jeff will not sleep a wink tonight!!
Just wanted to give an update on how he did! Try to update soon!! (by the way, he will be racing at 10 in the morning, 12 noon Oklahoma time so say a prayer for him and his safety! Thanks!!)

Today I am up early and really ready to be home! However we are here for another few days so I'm just going to have to suck it up! We are in Sacramento, CA and Michael qualified for his races yesterday. I know that all of this is probably a bit confusing to the non-racer but he did really well! We were so excited! He will race today Frid and Sat. It has been a long week. For any of you who have ever been away from home with a 9 month old (or any baby for that matter) for any period of time you know how I feel! She just does not sleep well in a pack-n-play. The older kids are having a blast though and are really enjoying having a pool right out the back door! So I will try to update soon on how he does but I doubt I get to it before we get home. Also... I think that either yesterday or today is Mari-kate Bloom's b-day and I just wanted to wish her a Happy Birthday! I remember being pretty ready to have Michael this time 9 years ago! Michael turns 9 on Sat so also a Happy Birthday to my growing boy!

On the Road!

Hey everybody! Today is going to be another one of those posts with no pictures! I have no idea how to do all that on a hotel computer! We are now in Lake Havasu City, Az. We drove 10 hours on Monday and arrived here about 7:30 Monday evening. There is a 2 hour time change here so we gained a few hours. Was nice but the trip home won't be so good! The kids are loving the lake! There are sandy beaches and the water is crystal clear! The lake is also set in the mountains so that makes it all the more beautiful! We will stay her until tomorrow morning (Thurs.) then we are heading towards Sacramento. That is about another 11 hours so we might break that up into a couple days. Michael raced in Albuquerque last weekend and he did awesome! He set fast time in both of his cars and got first in one of the races and second in the other. Sorry I don't know how to do the whole link thing! Let me know whether you can find it on there or not!
I am sure that you have heard that my Grandma Helen passed away a few days ago so please be in prayer for my family. I am especially having a hard time with it because I am not going to be able to be back for the funeral. Thanks ahead of time for the prayers and I will try to update soon!

Miss Isabell/ vacation description

Hello everybody! It has been a while since I have posted any pictures of Miss Izzy so I figured I would post a few! We are leaving for vacation tomorrow night, driving all night, because the first leg of our trip is 9 and a half hours and we do not think we can do this, and be sane when we arrive, if we do it during the day! Michael is racing in Albuquerque, New Mexico on the 10-13 so we will be there until the 14th. Then we are driving to Lake Havasu City, Arizona to spend a few days on their beautiful lake! From there we are headed to Sacramento, California where Michael is in the biggest race of the year from July 19-26. Jeff does not have to be home until Tue. the 29th for work so we will have three days to make the 25 and a half hour trip home. We are very excited to be gone fore 3 weeks but I am very sure that I will start missing my bed about half way through the trip! Anyway, enough is enough! Hopefully I will have some good pictures to post when we return! Until then...

Sick momma & kids!

I think this will be my first post I have ever done without pictures but I really don't feel like doing all of that! Jeff started out sick with a cold on Friday, then I started getting a sore throat on Saturday, then Isabell & Kamrynn followed shortly after that. I got up Sunday morning & got completely ready for church and then started throwing up. There went church out the window!
So I was pretty much stuck on the couch all day long & I was very thankful that Jeff was home b/c it would have been BAD if he hadn't been there to help with Isabell! I thought I would get up this morning feeling a whole lot better, instead I woke up with a throbbing headache on top of the nasea! So much for all the cleaning I had planned on doing! AND Jeff had to go to work this morning! This is when I was very thankful to have older children! Michael and Kamrynn were such a help to me! They played with Izzy pretty much the whole time she was awake and then when she went down for a nap, I went and crawled in bed and was able to sleep uninterrupted for and hour & a half! After this nap, I slowly have recouped throughout the day and I am happy to report that I am pretty much over it all!
Sorry if this has been a lame post but I thought sure it would make someone feel better about their day! Anyway, hope this finds you having a better day than I have had! God Bless!

The kids and I went to a park out at 71st & Riverside on Monday and we really had a good time. The water was a little cold so Kamrynn didn't get in much but she helped me keep Isabell happy so it was fine with me! Michael had a blast with the water guns! He thought it was quite funny to shoot all of the small children passing by! Anyway it was nice to have Michael home from school and all of us together!

Michael's last day of 2nd grade

This is Michael and his teacher Srta. Wright. She has been an awesome teacher & so sweet to Michael. Kamrynn & I got to go up to the school on Thursday, the last day, & help her clean out her class room. Michael really enjoyed us being there. I don't know how the teachers manage the kids during the last week of school! It was unbelievable how hyped up they were! Anyway, we followed them around & got to watch there last day activities. The girls in his class really took to Kami. They made over her the whole time and man was she ever happy! I have a video clip that I am going to upload of her and the girls. It is so cute! (the picture of the kids & I was taken by another 2nd grade student hense the reason it is the way it is!)

Big Race in Topeka

We all went to Topeka this past Memorial Day weekend and Michael raced in the Monza & did very well! (as you can see in the first picture of him & all of his trophies!) The picture also shows all of his cars. He is now racing three classes so it makes for a really busy weekend for Jeff but he absolutely loves it! Isabell finally decided that she would sleep in her playpen instead of in between Mommy & Daddy like she has been doing in hotels so I was very happy about that! Kamrynn really feels like a big girl because she is finally old enough that I feel comfortable with her running around with her friends. In fact, I rarely see her except for the few times that she comes to let me know that she is doing ok! All of the kids look forward to these races because it is one of the few times that they get to see each other during the year.

On Wednesday, May 21st, Michael had his first presentation on "Famous Oklahoman's". He was Carl Albert. He did all of his research, made notecards to help him through the presentation, and made the poster with pictures. Jeff went to watch and he said that he did very well! I was proud of him because I have never been one to enjoy getting up in front of the class and he apparantly has no problems with it! Oh and by the way, I am backed up on posting so I am going to try to post three in a row!

Sponge Rollers

The other night Kamrynn decided that she would like curly hair for a while so we went to walmart and bought a big package of the sponge rollers and proceeded to put them all in her hair. She really enjoyed it until it was time to go to bed... this is when she realized how uncomfortable they were to sleep in! But she made it through the night and we had VERY curly hair in the morning! And, of course, no hair makeover is complete without a little of Mom's makeup! The hair rollers really took me back because sometimes on Saturday nights my Mom would roll Joyce, Marianna, and I's hair so we could have curly hair for church! We loved it! By the way, Shawna, after we took the rollers out my Kamrynn said, "I look like the other Camryn!" It was so funny because she really did!

Like I said in my last post, we are really enjoying the weather! The kids and I took a walk & we made necklaces out of flowers.(does anyone remember doing this?) I also made Izzy one but in order for her not to eat it I had to make a crown! Kami loved it on her! Michael also found an alligator snapping turtle and we now have a new pet! (An outside on the front porch pet!) I'm not much for turtles but it is a cute little thing!

On Wednesday of lastweek me & the kiddos took a trip to the nearest park. Michael loves to search for crawdads in the creek & Kami tries to do anything & everything to impress big brother so she also braved the creek. They did not end up finding any crawdads but they did find some clay under a rock in the creek & they thought that was just too cool. Neither of them had any idea that you could find it in the ground! Izzy & I just sat on the bank & watched them explore. I have forgotten how nice it is to be outside when the weather is so beautiful!

Michael's Race 5-4-08

Michael raced in Tulsa this past Sunday afternoon and had an awesome day! He usually does pretty well but this week he lead both of his races by over half a lap! I am such a competitive person so it is so much fun to watch him do well. He is so humble and it is neat to watch his reaction (or lack there of) when he wins a race. He comes off of the track with no facial expression what so ever and when he gets out of his car he goes straight to the other boys that he was racing against and shakes their hands and tells them good job. So sweet.
Then off they all go to ride scooters, bikes and catch whatever reptile they can get their hands on until it is time to race again. We really do have a great time out there. I will say that having a 6 month old on your hip changes everything! Gone are the days of sitting on the bleachers and soaking in the rays. Now I find the best shade I can!! Anyway...hope you enjoy!

A Real Tea Party!!

Last spring, my Mom, Kamrynn, & I were invited to a tea party at an old historic building in downtown Tulsa. Everyone was supposed to dress semi-formal and we would have a light brunch & a tour of the building. (as you can see, I was not too dressed up! I was pregnate with Isabell and was in no mood to wear a dress!) I had never been to a tea party so I was not too sure what to expect but it ended up being a lot of fun! Kamrynn ran around with all the little girls that were their and she also enjoyed drinking her warm tea like all of the adults! The cups they had for the girls were adorable, so tiny!

My girls! We have a lot going on right now in our family so the best individual pictures I could take of them seem to be buckled in the car! We were on our way to the firestation to visit daddy so they were definately in their best mood!
I said that we have a lot going on right now...we are currently looking for a bigger house! I am very excited b/c I am tired of being cramped however I know that this is going to be a huge undertaking considering we now have three children! (the last time we moved we only had one!) These pictures just don't do the trip justice! I would recommend seaworld to everyone! The tickets were pretty expensive but it was well worth it!! Little story about the dolphin pool where the kids can "pet" them. They don't really come close enough for the kids to touch, however, Michael, being the bright young man that I have raised, knows that dolphins communicate in high pitched noises so he got the plastic straw that was in his cup and leaned over into the water and blew it under water. Every one of the dolphins in the pool swam straight to him and stuck their noses out for him to touch! It was one of the neatest things that I have ever seen!! The seaworld employees however did not think it was so neat. It was quickly announced not to put any plastic objects into the pool! (it was well worth it!)

This is what I have been doing, besides being sick with my kiddos, this week! It is called the JBF Sale and I do it every season. I tag all of the kids clothes from the previous season and sell them in order to buy them their wardrobes for the next season! What is really nice about it is that because I consign their clothes in it I get to shop a day earlier than the public so it isn't too crazy!
On top of that, you can price your clothes however you want to, so I usually make a couple hundred dollars over what I spend for the following seasons clothes! These sales are all over the states so go check it out at jbfsale.com! It really is an awesome way to get nice, namebrand clothes for the kids at a fraction of the cost.! I love it! I will make sure and post some more pix of the great deals I got out there this year! (By the way, these pix do not do this sale justice! There are thousands & thousands of items!)

Ok so here is the story on this card... When Jeff is on shift at the firestation his dad,Mike who lives 4 houses down & across the street, comes and picks up Michael for school so I don't have to get all the kids out in the cold! (I'm pretty spoiled!) Anyway... Jeff's mom will sometimes write a cute little note to her hubby(my father-in-law) and tell him "Have a good day!" or "I love you!" & will leave it on the dashboard in his car. Well, Michael thinks it is hilarious you know how 8 year olds feel about love! YUCK!! So he has come to expect a note from her every morning when he jumps in the car with "Papi." The funny thing is, is that he thinks they are written to him also! So yesterday he ran out to get in the car and much to his surprise she had made him a note as well! He was soooo excited! It was too cute! In case you can't read it the front says "For you, Michael" & the inside was 3-D and it had lips the popped out "Smack!" It also said "Have a good day at school!" Some people (my mother-in-law in particular) are just too creative!

Ok... so I know I have posted twice already this morning but this is just too funny not to share! In our house your tongues STAY in your mouth and your fingers STAY OUT of your nose unless you have a tissue. So Kami apparantly took my cell phone at some point in the past week and proceeded to take about 30 pix of herself doing all of the things she is NOT supposed to! (I don't think she realized that they would save on my phone!) Sorry about the double pix. I can't figure out why it keeps doing that!

Today it is 70 degrees in Tulsa! It is absolutely beautiful! The kids are having a blast playing out in daddy's shop. I went out & took some pix of the "house" they were making. They both have gotten completely decked out in camo which is pretty normal for Michael but doesn't happen very often with Kam. She wants to be like big brother! (pretty cute!)

Today, I am going to put up some pix of Michael & his racecars. We have so much fun as a family with this sport. We travel about 6 times a year and the kids love it! Michael has recently received a sponsorship from an individuaul and his wife to cover the costs of our racing throughout the year. This is a huge blessing for us as it can get pretty expensive. First Entry

Hello everyone!! I think I have this partially figured out! (I'm sure I'll run into plenty of problems!) Anyway I am very excited to get to show off my munchkins! I've been able to keep up with everyone else for so long through their blogs so now you all can keep up with us!!!
Our family is kindof at a down time right now as far as being busy goes! Jeff is still working as a fireman and loving it. He recently tested for and got the Lieutenants position. We are very excited about that! I'm so proud of him! I am staying home with the kids and keeping busy with my candle business. I am getting ready to start a huge fundraiser in Feb. which means I will be even busier! On top of that we have the new baby, Isabell, who sure keeps me busy! (and my back & arm muscles strong!)
Michael is now in 2nd grade at Zarrow Elementary. It is a spanish immersion program that will help him greatly in the coming years! He is still racing quarter midget racecars and loving it! Season does not start up until end of March ,hence the reason we are not as busy right now! He has two world records for fast times in his car(s). And many wins under his belt! I never thought I would enjoy this racing thing as much as I do!
Kamrynn is our little princess/drama queen. She loves everyone around her and will tell you a hundred times a day! I love it! She hasnt started school yet b/c her birthday is 3 days past the cut off date! She will start the 4 year old program this coming fall.
Isabell is our newest and is just starting to show us her attitude...I mean personality. She is a sweet baby and we are so thankful to have her here safe & happy.
