Going home!

Today Patrick & Joyce got to go home at 4:00pm. They were both ready to take Cody home and get him situated! He is still doing very good. He is so calm, I have hardly heard him cry except for when he was first delivered and the nurses were making him cry! Joyce is pretty tired but Patrick is so good to help. He is always there to get whatever she needs!

Pictures! Sorry they aren't any better than this but I went to the hospital again today and forgot my camera so I had to take them with my phone. It is amazing how much they change in the first 24 hours! I will have a lot more pictures to post that I took throughout the whole process but I told Joyce that she could look at them first so I have to wait for her ok!

New nephew!!

Patrick & Joyce had there little boy, Cody Thomas Churchwell, yesterday @ 3:52pm. He weighed 7lbs 7oz & was 20 inches long. He is has the cutest pouty lips I've ever seen! I'm sure I'll be doing anything that baby wants very soon! Daddy & Mommy are both doing well besides the exhaustion. Sorry I don't have any pictures uploaded yet but I will try to post some a little later today... Thanks for the prayers!

~Decorating the tree~

We got our tree on Thursday night but did not have time to decorate it so on Friday Michael's asthma was acting up & he was home from school so we decided to go & get Kamrynn out of school at one & decorate it in the afternoon. We had never done this in the middle of the day! It is always dark when we do it so we shut all the blinds & turned off the lights to make it feel "normal"! It was a lot of fun to take our time & not have to hurry. The kids had a blast!

Here is my wild haired child! Here hair actually lays down nice but on this day we had it in a ponytail & she had just pulled it out so she looks crazy! I love it like this!

Ha! Ha! I had to put this one on here! Here is Kam laying on our bed watching T.V. Now if you look real close, you can see that she is laying on something (or in this case, someone!) Yes! That is Jeff totally passed out underneath her! She was just laying there all relaxed & he really was asleep! I just thought it was too funny not to share!!

Christmas pictures

Lastnight we took the kids out to get a christmas tree. This year we really wanted to go to a tree farm and cut down our own tree but when we looked into it we couldn't find one that was open on weeknights so we ended up just going to Lowes like we usually do! It was probably better anyway because it was freezing outside!!! Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!

Our Halloween

Here are my halloween munchkins! Michael decided he would be Dracula, Kamrynn was a pirate, & Isabell was a leopard. Jeff had to work at the firestation so I took them up there so he could paint their faces & then we went to Joyce & Patricks house/neighborhood where we met Marianna & Brayden to Trick-or-Treat. We had a great time & the kids of course came away with a lot of candy!!
